i dreamt a man was chopping wood
but it left the stump in shredded rags
and a column of wood remained at the heart
of what was once a beautiful tree.
the girl that was with me showed me around, and she lived in a bright place with a busy house and family with issues. she was average and not beautiful. i wasn't aware of knowing her name.
