2004-01-23 - 2:20 p.m.

we are in a courthouse that resembles a curch, with pews and an alter like judges stand and jury booth.

the order of things is confusing. there are a lot of black people and I am only watching, though I am there. The judge is white, with old time white wig type thing.

There is a group of white people in white wigs outside, standing in the cold, afraid to come in.

the equally sized group of black people stand at the doorway, double doors which are open or made of glass, and stand off. It feels good natured, at least from the inside of the courthouse. Guns are shooting, i think, but no one dies and the white people just stand there, shivering and cold. I am off to the side. I realized that we should have been throwing snowballs.

immediately, cut to the group of white people in two rows chained to each other by the wrists, heads downcast. the black people are gathered sparsely around them. The white judge seems to view this as a golden opportunity, and sentences the entire group of white people.

the next part is juxtaposed, but there is starts to get narrated by a movie voice. in the snow, a black smuggles in a gun, which i think of as a shot gun but that also has several different shapes. the voice mentions that he must transport the gun to and from in two pieces, the wooden part is all he mentions and i have to infer the barrel part. we see the wooden part as he trips and it falls out of his jacket, it respembes a wooden basket or bucket, which is strange, although i don't think so at the time.

later, in jail, all the black people. someone says something dejected about the cross, and it turns out the mechanism that keeps the cells locked is a large swinging wooden cross thing with one of the prongs missing.

There is a bad guard, but I don't see him do anything bad. He closes the cells with the big sideways T thing, and starts to walk away down the hall. The movie narrator is saying something profound, talking about the black guy with the gun at the end of the hall. His gun is now shaped like i can't describe, sort of boomerang shaped, but like four feet long and three feet thick, and it is slightly transluscent blue with deep red in the middle, and he uses it to crash down the wooden cell door as the narrator says some great things that i can't remembe, and i wake up as he sprints down with the battle gun thing towards the guard and hits him with it from behind.

I woke up thinking this movie should be called A Gun Named Amanda Sue, or something.
